National Church of England Academy is proud to be part of the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership, alongside a number of other academies within Nottinghamshire.
Diverse Academies Learning Partnership (DALP)
Diverse Academies is a group of academies committed to development and improvement through collaboration and partnership and has been existence since September 2011. There are two trusts linked by a formal partnership agreement, The Diverse Academies Trust (DAT), a Multi-Academy Trust and The National Church of England Academy Trust (NCEAT) which is currently a single academy trust.
The partnership’s core focus is the achievement and development of each individual student. This is achieved through maintaining and developing each Academy’s unique identity and individual characteristics, sharing existing best practice and co-developing new best practice techniques.
National Church of England Academy Trust (NCEAT)
The National C of E Academy is a single academy trust. The trust board works closely with the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership (DALP) board who are empowered by the trust to provide overall support and challenge to the academy through the leadership and management and governance structure.
Whilst the National Church of England Academy is a single academy trust (NCEAT) we have been part of the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership from the beginning.
As a Church of England academy, our Christian values remain an integral part of everything we do. Being part of the DALP partnership has enabled us to continue to raise standards while retaining our Christian roots. The strength of DALP is the continued drive to raise standards in all the academies while letting each retain their own identity. We recognise and benefit from being part of DALP and all academies contribute to and benefit from the ‘tight and loose principles’ of the group.
