We want all our students to develop into well rounded individuals ready for the world of work, apprenticeships or university. Therefore, a core part of our Post 16 programme is enrichment outside of and within academic studies.

We offer a variety of activities that students can get involved in such as:

Charity Work – Post 16 take part in a range of charity events throughout the year such as their annual Christmas Jumper Day, Macmillan Coffee Morning and they run their own charity event once a year supporting a local charity.

Primary School Placements


All our students take place in a Road Traffic Collison Awareness Day led by the Fire service.

Work Experience

All our Year 12 students take part in meaningful work experience to prepare them for life after Post 16. They are supported by their tutors and our Careers Advisor in finding a suitable work experience placement.
