A warm welcome from the governing body of the National Church of England Academy.

We are a highly proactive body that both supports and challenges the academy. We are very proud to be a part of a hardworking and dedicated team of staff who always put the students at the centre of all they do.

Our membership consists of foundation governors appointed by the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, parents, staff and community governors. We work very closely with the academy's leadership team setting the strategic direction of the academy and we carefully monitor and evaluate everything we do.

We are delighted that the quality of our work has been recognised externally. In our most recent Ofsted inspection, governance (as part of leadership and management) was rated as 'outstanding'. We have also been awarded the Governor Mark, a nationally recognised standard that measures the effectiveness of governors and the work they do. We have worked very hard to achieve this recognition.

You can find out more about our work on the governance pages of the website. You can also contact Stephen Bray, clerk to the board of directors via email for more information about the work of the governing body.
