Key stage 3: In year 7 the geography and history course is delivered in two lessons per week per subject to mixed ability classes. The religious studies course is delivered in one lesson per week to mixed ability classes. In years 8 and 9 the geography and history course is delivered in two lessons per week per subject to setted classes. The religious studies course is delivered in one lesson per week to setted classes.
Key stage 4: In Religious Studies all pupils follow the short course Ethics GCSE in one lesson per week. All pupils can select History, Geography, Leisure and Tourism and full course Philosophy and Ethics from the mixed option blocks and will be allocated three periods a week.
Key stage 5: Students can choose to continue study of Geography, History and Philosophy and Ethics. Students can also study Sociology and Psychology.
