A great sporting week for National has come to a close with yet another success story for our students. Today a team of students, representing Ashfield district, became county champions at the multi-sport inclusion event at the Nottinghamshire School Games.

Held at the David Ross Sports Centre at the University of Nottingham, our mixed boys and girls team competed against other academies and schools from around the county in sports such as basketball, short tennis, new-age kurling and dodgeball.

All of the students keenly contested the brilliant series of events, but the team from National led the way in every sport, winning all of their events on their way to being crowned champions. Each individual from National together with their rivals competed in a hugely sporting manner and were a credit to themselves and their academy/school.

Huge congratulations to our team – make sure that you say a big ‘well done’ when you see them around the academy!
