During the closure period, our intention is to minimise the impact on the education of our students. We have prepared learning resources and homework for all students across all year groups, with access to work in each of their subjects.
Students will need to access the system using their academy log-in details – your email is your username followed by @nationalce-ac.org.uk, with the password your normal academy password.
Each week, work will be uploaded for students in years 7-10 to complete at home. All students are to complete work for each subject on their timetable for their year group. Students should spend the equivalent lesson time each week on each subject. Please also check INSIGHT for specific guidance from your teachers. Year 10 students will be expected to have contact with their teachers every week.
For year 11, revision resources will be available on the SharePoint. This is an opportunity for students to embed their knowledge from their GCSE courses and prepare for an external exam in the Autumn term if they choose to sit one. From 11 May 2020, year 11 students can access the bridging units for the courses they have chosen at Hucknall Sixth Form Centre by clicking here.
If you have forgotten your password and/or need this reset, please contact email@example.com – This email must come from the email address we have on SIMS or we will not be able to crossmatch the student and their details.
Work can be found here: https://dalp.sharepoint.com/sites/NCEA-StudentPortal
Students are to follow their general timetable of subjects and complete the work given for those subjects for their year group. This will ensure that when students return to the academy they will be prepared for the next stage of their learning.
Students without access to the internet or a home computer must contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0115 963 5667 and we will endeavour to support with providing paper-based learning resources where possible.
All students should aim to follow their normal timetable as closely as possible to ensure they remain on track with their learning.
