Transition

We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students to the National Church of England Academy community in September. This year more than ever we appreciate there will be anxieties about joining us and many of the activities that might have taken place, including onsite transition activities and the chance to meet classmates and teachers, can’t happen in the usual way.

However, much can and will still happen for you all and we will adapt what we do as the position becomes clearer. These pages are an important source of information and I would strongly encourage you to “drop in” for updates and the latest information. We will, of course, also contact you directly with anything you need to know.

The links at the bottom of the page take you two main areas. For students there is the Ready for The National Academy? page where you will be able to watch a virtual tour of the academy site. There are also some activities for students to complete to help them get to know the academy a bit better.

The Information for Parents section includes the welcome book and FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).

The range of information on the page will be added to over time. If you need any further support, please contact Mrs Soltysik, our transition lead, via email.

We will do everything we can to make the transition to National as smooth as we can and are excited to meet everyone as soon as we are able. With warm wishes to you all and welcome!
