Prestigious physics award for National student Grace

National student Grace C was recently recognised for her exceptional talents in science at an awards ceremony at The University of Nottingham’s School of Physics and Astronomy. She received a prestigious award from The Ogden Trust as she was named the KS4 Young Physicist of the Year on an evening that celebrated the very best students studying physics throughout the city and county.

Grace had been nominated by the science team at the academy who said, “Grace has a real talent for physics which is driven by her desire to understand all the concepts and detail of what we study. Together with this, she shows a real and genuine passion for the subject matter. A superb achievement.”

As part of her prize she was able to watch an astrophysics lecture and received a certificate. Well done to Grace – we will watch your onward progress in science and physics with interest!
