Students take to the slopes ahead of ski trip

Students have taken to the slopes for a very different kind of lesson ahead of the Academy’s annual ski trip to France.

Forty students will spend a week skiing at Les Menuires in January but not before getting in a bit of practice on the dry slopes first. The lessons will prepare the students for skiing on fresh snow in another fantastic educational ski trip organised by National Church of England Academy.

The Cime de Carron ski area has plenty of wide, gentle slopes for beginners and keen intermediates can enjoy enormous blue runs giving spectacular views and an exciting sense of travelling further afield. The students will stay in the idyllic French valley where the slopes are so close it is almost possible to ski to the door of the hotel.
