Site Manager Eddie Heath Honoured

The National's Site Manager Eddie Heath is honoured by Trent Barton Buses with a bus being decorated in his name for his heroics in helping to save the life of a pupil at the Academy.

National's Year 10 Engineers visit the Construction and Logistics Skills Academy in Kirkby where a team from the Bloodhound Project deliver specialist engineering and technology workshops.

The Mayor visits National for discussions with the school's student council.

Eco Garden Project

Earlier this November the Eco Action Team got together for a planting afternoon to complete the majority of the eco garden.

Rotary Club Young Chef of the Year Competition

Last years National CofE Academy winner Manpreep Chagger battled it out with Joanne Heathcote to reach the regional heats of the Rotary Club's Young Chef of the Year Competition. It was a very close finish and the judges awarded the regional competition place to Joanne.

Welcome to The National Church of England Academy.

We are a faith academy in the tradition of the Church of England, offering an all-round education for pupils from the age of 11 to 19. Our aim is to provide a happy and stimulating environment in which young people can develop and grow: to have 'fullness of life'.

In return, we expect our pupils to work hard, and do their best. Perhaps this is why our academy is academically so high achieving. We welcome children of all faiths, and of none, who seek education within a framework of strong moral values.Our facilities are good, the standard of teaching is very high, and we have a strong learning culture.
